UPSC IAS 2025 Photo Rules: Name, Date & Dimensions (350x350px)
Quick Answer: UPSC CSE (IAS) requires a specific pixel dimension of 350x350 pixels minimum. The photo must have the candidate's name and date of photo printed at the bottom.
The "Name & Date" Rule Explained
UPSC is very strict about the "Slate" requirement. Your photo must look like this:
Top 80%: Your Face
Bottom 20%: A white strip with Name & Date
Manually editing this in Paint or Canva is difficult. Our DocSet UPSC Tool does this automatically.
Steps to Create UPSC Photo:
Upload your image to DocSet UPSC Tool.
Enter your Name (e.g., RAHUL SHARMA).
Select Date (e.g., 20-02-2025).
Our AI will place the text perfectly at the bottom.
Why Forms Get Rejected?
Glasses: If you wear specs, remove them. Glare causes rejection.
Bad Background: Use a plain white sheet as a background.
Wrong Size: If the file is > 300KB, it won't upload.
